These special gnomes are "harvested from acorns" by Aimee Ray of Little Dear. Love the hats of the little guys and the winking owl is so sweet! I bet these will make great stocking stuffer.
This cool owl mirror is by A+R, a collaboration between Andy Griffith and Rose Apodaca. They hand pick each and every product for their stores. Their products are anything but common like this mirror. Isn't it? I have never seen anything like this before.
A pair of pillowcases with artwork of Dylan Martorell. One features an owl with mice and other a tree. This set is available in four different color combinations at Ruck Rover.
It's that time of the year again, when we all frequent post office. I love it the old-fashioned way; going to the post office with a stack of greeting cards and gifts. It's fun for me (even if it's just once a year). I personally like receiving handwritten cards because the warm notes inside always make me smile and make me feel special . Do you buy cards or make your own? Have you already done it for this year?
These darling animal shaped softies are hand printed on cotton fabric with polyester filling. ArounnaKhounnoraj and John Booth of Bookhou also make furniture and sculptures with a contemporary twist.
When I saw this Got Craft's "Holiday Edition" beautiful poster at Poppytalk, I couldn't resist sharing it with you. After all, the show's star is an owl, hehe. Seriously, it's a perfect holiday themed poster. I love all the ornaments hanging from the tree and the owl in his red scarf is so adorable!
What's Got Craft?
Got Craft is one of the biggest Indie craft fairs of Vancouver. It started in 2007 and has grown to 50 vendors selling handmade jewelry, paper goods, ceramics and more! If you are in Vancouver, then stop by or visit them here.
There are not many of these vintage Cracker Jack's tin signs available out there. I found it at my local store. It features objects like scissors, hammer and car, and animals like squirrel, bear, elephant and owl (of course). I did some searching and found that it's on auction on eBay here.
After last week's gift guide for kids, I decided to do a holiday gift guide for all the special ladies on your list. Surprise your mom, daughter, wife or a friend with a special something. These gifts will surely sweep her off her feet. Hope you'll like them!!
Lovely art print by MotoMoto featuring me with owls(just kidding) saying "The Owl Speaks To Me". You can send request to the artist if you interested in buying this print.
Happy December! Can you believe it's already the last month of the year? Soon, we'll be in year 2010. Before that we have lots to do. Don't we? We'll all be busy with holidays and will have an erratic schedule. To make your holiday shopping a little easier, I have collected these calendars for you. Each and every one of these calendars is wonderful. Just tie a little string of ribbon around it and it's ready for giving out as a gift!. And that's not all; at the end of the year, the pictures could be clipped and framed to be enjoyed as art. Browse through Part I and Part II for more!
L-o-v-e these decorative tapes by Petit Collage. These tapes will look great wrapped around on a brown box, or, to decorate walls or sealing an envelope of a greeting card.
Did you have a good, restful break? I hope your Thanksgiving was wonderful! I stayed at home and did a little catching up with friends and family.
Let's start our another owl-y week together by thanking Ishtar for sharing with us these wonderful miniature paintings of a Swedish painter. The artist paints all sorts of animals - seals, hedgehogs, rabbits, owsl on mini canvases and stones. Love these!
This Kawaii's diary is so cute that you would want to carry it with you wherever you go. It has 304 pages which makes a perfect organizer for anyone who likes to keep everything in one place. It's a calendar, planner, jotter and check list. I love the cute illustrations adorning each and every page of the diary. It's Kawaii, I agree!
