Su Blackwell: Paper Sculptures

Amazing book cut sculptures by Su Blackwell, a London based art director. She creates stunning sculptures cut out of ordinary books where fairytale creatures, butterflies and birds are bring to life. You may not able to read them, but these pieces will leave you in awe at every glimpse.

"I often work within the realm of fairy-tales and folk-lore. I began making a series of book-sculpture, cutting-out images from old books to create three-dimensional diorama’s, and displaying them inside wooden boxes."
