While browsing Flickr last night, I came across these photos taken by Christine at an Estate sale of an owl collector. My jaw dropped to the floor when I was this huge collection of owls. Her collection seems to have owls in every shape and size. I looked at these photos at least a hundred times, if not more, admiring every owl figurine, plate, lamp, jar, mugs and everything else the lady collected in the past 60 years. My heart is beating so fast while I am writing this post. I think I may have found my twin?

I was looking through thinking "wow, I want to go there" when I saw that I have one of those owls (well...at least one!). In the last picture on the right hand side a little more than halfway down, the owl with his wings outstretched...I have him! My hubby bought him for me around 10 years ago or so! What a wonderful coincidence!
WOAH. That is amazing!!
And I see something that looks just like a little lamp that I have!!

Oh man, you and me both.
oh dear, oh my. That is one hell of an owl collection. Can you imagine being at that estate sale? I don't think I could walk away without purchasing at least a handful. But with such a vast choice the decision would be rather painful and long!
oh mine, too much owl loveliness! and I think I spot my owl bank in there somewhere.
