Marie Christophe

Marie Christophe is a French artist who makes whimsical and gorgeous sculptural lamps and chandeliers with curved wire and colorful beads. She has been commissioned by Hermès, Dior, Cartier and Bergdorf Goodman

Her 3D sculptures have a very fluid look to them, they are "as light as air and as transparent as bubbles in a glass of champagne...with simple and sublime design she turns wire, beads and baubles into illuminating poetry". I would love have an owl (or pelican?) lamp from her menagerie of animal lamps.
