Remember these owl recipe cards. The cards are free to download and can be hand written on. But those of us who aren't blessed with beautiful handwriting like our grandmothers are going to like today's post. Marissa emailed me a couple of days ago sharing that she liked the cards so much that she has made them fillable! (she doesn't like her writing. Girl, you are not alone.) Suz, the designer of the cards, loved the idea too!
You can fill these cards out on your computer and print them! With Christmas just around the corner, you can share your homemade gift in a jar with recipe printed on these adorable cards. Start here by typing your recipe!
Note: You cannnot save data typed into the card. Make sure, you print out your recipe after you have finished typing.
Pretty. Generous.
ReplyDeleteThank you!
That is great! Thanks so much for sharing.
ReplyDeleteFantastic recipe cards. Love that I can type the recipe on them and then print them. Of course owls are my favorite.
ReplyDeleteHello:)Just wondering how is it possible to type the recipe before printing? I clicked on the link: Start *here* by typing your recipe and once I was there I wasnt able to type anything at all. Do I need to use Google Docs?
ReplyDeleteAnon.: just download the google doc as a pdf and begin typing that way. To do that, go to the 'file' tab. :)
ReplyDeletethese are great!
ReplyDeletethe link to type the recipe before printing doesnt work anymore...
ReplyDelete@Anonymous Go ahead and download the PDF file first, and then type and print.
ReplyDeleteI am not sure why typing before downloading the file isn't working anymore. I'll have to look into that.
Have a great day!
What a wonderful gift! My recipes will be readable now! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteI came here from How About Orange. :)
Thank you so very much for this! For the people who are confused about how to type your recipe before printing, you must download the google document to your computer in a PDF file and it allows you to type and print :)
ReplyDeleteI love these cards but I hate to waste so much space at the end of the paper. Is there any way you can place two cards per page? I am planning on printing the paper double sided so if I could get two blue cards on one page and two yellows on the second page, that would be so helpful!
ReplyDelete@TaraS That's a good idea but I am afraid it's not possible right now to print two cards on a single page.
ReplyDeleteWhat is suppose to go next to Recipe N or ~?? name of the recipe??
ReplyDeleteIt would make a great space to type number for your recipe or name. Whatever you like :)
ReplyDeleteOMG! Cute recipe cards! Thank you! perfect for my December Daily! Save file to your computer first. Then open PDF file and you are able to write in your recipe. You can also print on one piece of card stock. Make sure all the paper is removed from your printer except the one your printing on. When one side has printed, put that same sheet back in and both recipe cards will print on one sheet. Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! These are too cute! Great tip Christina, works perfectly.

If you have SnipTool or a similar program, you can take a snip of the recipe card (before or after typing), while still in the Adobe program. Then you can copy and paste those pictures (snips) into a Microsoft Work or similar program document. You an then add 2 copies of each picture to achieve your 4 cards on 1 sheet of cardstock. I hope this helps
