Elsie Dodd
These bright Alphabet Cushions from Elsie Dodd is brilliant and fun idea. Each alphabet pillow has images of things that begin with the same letter on the front. The "O" pillow features illustration of an owl, an octopus and an orange. These will look awesome tossed on a couch or in a kids room spelling out words. Available at Bouf.com.
I Meet Mr. Owl
Talking of Harry Potter, my town celebrates arts and entertainment events every month, and this month Harry Potter was one of the main themes of the event. Harry Potter fans filled the streets to be a part of the costume party and play life-size chess board, and also had their photos taken with the Talking Sorting Hat. But, for me, star of the show was "Archimedes" - a horned owl, which is the largest breed in the world with big yellow eyes; no wonder I was breaking out in a cold sweat when I was posing with him. After contemplating for a few minutes, I decided that I wanted a picture with him. Despite being afraid of being so close to this powerful, wild bird I managed a smile for the camera.
How often do you get to see an owl up close? It was really cool to see an owl perched on the educator's hand and see its head move almost a full circle. It was creepy cool!
I had to share this (very) exciting news with you all. Sorry for the bad, blurry picture, but it was dark and the only thing I'd was a crappy cell phone camera. Have you ever seen an owl in person?

Plümo
I recently discovered Plümo and I am already loving them. Plumo is an UK based boutique that offers beautiful homeware, handcrafted gifts and cute accessories from artists all over the world at very reasonable prices. Those ceramic owl hooks are my personal favorite. They are available in three pretty colors - pink, turquoise, olive and cream, and will work great in both bathroom and kitchen.
{from the top: owl candlestick, owl magnets, owl and bird hooks, ceramic owl hooks and owl candle holder}
Lulu Carter
This gorgeous night owl doll named "Anastasia" was made using vintage white linen, silk, organza, bridal tulle, metallic thread and feathers by Lulu Carter.
Owl with Mustache
Mustaches are so cool and trendy right now, and I am not referring to the hairy men mustaches. Lately, the mustache print has been on everything - on cushion covers, artwork, jewelry, stationery etc. But, it's kind of surprising that there are not very many owls with mustaches. They both are cool, so why not combine them. Right? So, when I saw this tray by Walking Desaster I squealed, I mean how cute does that owl look in mustache. Didn't I tell you they would be cool together?

Louis Vuitton Animal Handbags
The Louis Vuitton animal handbags window display at their storefront on 5th Avenue location, New York. I love these animal shaped handbags! How adorable the each one is! The owl bag just cracks me up. The buckle for his necktie, golden buttons for eyes and denim pocket for shirt is such a creative idea.
After this very eye-catchy they received many requests from the animal lovers who were interested in "adopting" a piece of art. I couldn't find any information on date of availability but it's certain they will be selling these animal handbag animals at the the store. All the best, if you want one!
