Victoria Whincup

Victoria Whincup is an illustrator currently based in Hull. She graduated from Cambridge School of Art with a first class honors degree in Illustration. I just discovered her soft sculptures made from calico, hand painted and stuffed with organic cotton. Each creature from the series has an interesting hobby. For example - Bobby who is a pretty little barn owl, likes to she likes to do cross stitching in her spare time.

One Brown Cow

What a sweet collection of owls print bags? Nicky James designed these series of bags for One Brown Cow, a UK brand. The range includes satchel, purse, tote bag and make-up bag in two colors - red and blue. They do ship internationally, including to the US!

Alison Corrie: Animal Pillows

Alison Corrie's animal pillows are silkscreened onto white canvas, hand-painted with fabric paint, colored with embroidery and backed with African printed textile. There are total of 10 animals to pick from including two different owls - barred owl and great horned owl, rabbits, elephants, whales, giraffes, turtles, alligators,  armadillos and penguins. These are perfect to be used as a stuffed toy or as a soft, comfortable cushion on a couch!

Stephanie Parker: Wallpaper

Stephanie Parker is a freelance printed textile designer and illustrator based in UK. Her work has been exhibited in galleries in England and Northern Ireland. She uses bold and bright colors in her artwork accompanied by intricate detailed pen work. Her barn owl print wallpaper featuring owls and trees is sophisticated for a bedroom or a living room. Tara Badcock

Tara Badcock is a textile artist and designer, born in Tasmania currently living in Sydney. She gained her Bachelor of Fine Art at the University of Tasmania and since then she has exhibited locally and internationally. She started a brand in 2005 called "Paris + Tasmania"  under which she designs stunning cushions, totes, curtains, pouches and wall panels, using embroidery and unique stitching techniques. 

I love her hand-embroidered owls on gorgeous fabrics but this exotic bird pillow has left me speechless!

Wayne Pate is an American Illustrator who creates retro inspired prints with whimsy and simpleness. I am loving how the moon is laying on the head of the owl in the "Family of Hoots". Suzy Taylor: Papercut

Suzy Taylor is a papercutting artist presently living in North London. Her work is mainly influenced by American and European folk art and reflects themes of nature, usually birds. The shown images are of commissioned owls papercut that she recently finished for a client and shared the progress on her blog. It's kind of surprising how a plain sheet of paper can be turned into something this stunning and delicate! Isn't it?
