DIY: Pinecone Owls

These are too cute for words! I found this wonderful tutorial on how-to-make these little guys on this blog which is in Spanish. The images shown above  pretty much explain the process but you can still translate the blog post, if you like. These will work great with your existing fall decor or thanksgiving table spread. Just find a few pinecones to get started!

Magpie: Wildlife

Magpie and Bristol based artist Tom Frost collaborated to design the new 2013 range of goodies based on Tom's 'Mammals of the British Isles' series. The Wildlife range consists of ceramic plates, espresso sets, mugs, egg cups, iphone cases, tea towels, notebooks and cake tins featuring nocturnal British creatures - owl, otter, hare and fox. The products will be made available soon on their website so keep your eyes peeled!

Amanda Colville is an artist and printmaker who creates these linocut prints and cards using traditional printmaking techniques from her home in Norfolk.
