Sonny Angel Animal Series

I recently came across these dolls named Sonny Angel. It's a cute and angelic boy that comes in a huge range of collections wearing all sorts of headgears. Animal Series 3 consists of 12 mini figurines of animals including owl , zebra, buffalo, hippo and more. These seem to be a new trend at the moment and have a massive fan following all over the world! Did you hear about them before? People love to collect them, use them as props in the photographs or even take them on a travel abroad!

I find these dolls creepy cute. Do you? I adore the owl so much that I feel it's only a matter of time before I buy one for myself. May be it'll need a few tries since they come in a 'blind' box which means you wouldn't know the content of the box until opened. I'll order as soon as I am ready for my first surprise! If you like, you can start playing here.

These charming and colorful animal greeting cards by Andrea Lauren make me smile. You can view more of her work on her online store Paper Sparrow where she offers prints, tote bags and pouches.

DIY: Felt Woodland Masks

I have featured several kinds of masks on my blog before but this one is my favorite project so far because it doesn't require any sewing! If you can work with a pair of scissors and an iron then making these masks will be a walk in the park for you.

Just download the template(s) of the animal(s) you want and follow some simple set of instructions from here. It's truly a fun project to try with your kids for Halloween (bookmark now for later!) or a dress up  kids' party.

'Flat Pets': Silly or Not?

'Flat Pets' by Garudio Studiage is a range of cardboard cut-outs of the animals which you can keep with you in an apartment without the fuss. I am not sure if I am completely on board with the idea so I need to hear what do you guys think about the 'Flat Pets'. I discussed this with my friends in the States and they told me that people once kept rocks as their pets. Amazing! In India (where I am from originally) this concept is completely unheard of or will most likely be considered silly.

If you have any experience with flat or rock pets then I am curious to learn your views. Could these adorable screen printed animals be a solution to those who are allergic or have very little time in their day?
