Let's begin this new week with this cute tutorial on how to make an owl gift box by Lisa of Basic Grey. We have seen numerous owl craft projects online created with toilet paper roll, I featured some adorable ones in the past here. Just recently I stumbled across a slightly different tutorial which uses an oatmeal box (the one you can get from a dollar store) instead of the toilet paper roll. The oatmeal container will make a bigger box which is perfect to hold candy, thank-you note or a small gift.
For this easy project, you will need:
- paper sheets
- chiffon flowers for eyes
- scraps of black, white, and orange cardstock
- a glue stick
- paper trimmer
- an oatmeal container
