Hoot Cocoa Spoons

Are you stuck indoor in this freezing cold? No worries, I have something that'll make staying home in this chilly weather fun! These adorable owl marshmallow-decorated Hoot cocoa spoons by Sandra Denneler make a yummy winter drink with just a dip of a spoon in your favorite beverage.

These owl treats are easy to create with marshmallows and white chocolate, that'll melt instantly into a hot drink on stirring. These are perfect for owl-themed parties or gather a few friends to enjoy this finger-licking goodness!

Fanny & Alexander

Fanny and Alexander was founded by Delfina Aguilar based on the principle of enriching "the lives of children with analogue toys that are beautiful, simple, enduring and that encourage fantasy, imagination, creativity, and ingenuity." The brand offers wood-carved toys, hand-knitted animal figures and handcrafted collectibles.

From their current range, I have picked out few of my favorite products to share here including - owl toy made with vintage fabric(from here), owl shaped rattle, animal print satchel, quirky owl print and needlepoint sets.

Recycled Animal Sculptures by Dean Patman

Dean Patman is an artist from Hove, East Sussex who uses spoons, forks, teapots, knives and any other object that he can find to create amazing life-like animal sculptures. He graduated from St Martins in 1998, while he was still in St Martins he got involved in making sculptures with recycled objects. He discovered he enjoyed making animals the most and ever since, he has created number of cool sculptures inspired by nature.

"I've always been a little nutty about animals." he says, "At school my teachers soon learnt that the best way to motivate me was to make it about animals. I especially loved being able to draw or model them."

You can view more of his work on his website. If you are interested, some of his work is available for purchase on Bircham Gallery.
