Robin Panzer of
Art Studio 33 is a mixed media artist based in Oregon. She specializes in creating hand torn paper fine art animal portraits using beautifully handmade Japanese and Thai papers to bestow the realistic fur and feather textures. Her art has been featured in galleries, resort boutiques and magazines.
Her unique animals are dimensional, textured and vibrant, similar to pop art which is a result of impeccable attention to detail. She makes her pieces by meticulously hand tearing paper in tiny pieces that are assembled into animal forms. Every piece is one-of-a-kind!
"Robin paints with the paper. If she wishes to impart a particular color that the paper does not have, the paper is stained or colored with inks before the tearing process begins."
She next exhibition "Fine Feathered Friends" is from March 6-31st, 2015 at Columbia Center for the Arts Hood River, OR. For more details visit her
