Anna Silivonchik

Anna Silivonchik was born in 1980 in Gomel, Belarus. She has a graduate degree from the Belarusian College of Arts and from the Belarusian Art Academy in Department of Painting from Minsk, Belarus. Her work is a delightful trip to the fairy tale land created from her imagination and childhood dreams. She has a distinctive style which gets inspiration from the whimsical realism of Mark Chagall, the naïve art of the primitivists of the early 20th century, and of course the local, national ornamental art and folklore. With her art she highlights the close relationship between the nature and people which we mostly fail to notice and appreciate. The intricacy and detailing in her work is mind blowing, accompanied with bright and rich colors.

She has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions. Anna's artwork are in the Museum of Contemporary Art and in many private collections in the UK, France, Germany, Holland, Poland and Belarus. She has a store on Redbubble where her artwork is available on mugs, iphone cases, t-shirts, scarves, pillows and more.
