British designer Emily Carter recently graduated from London College of Fashion where she studied BA Fashion Textiles. After graduating she started her brand that specializes in luxury illustrated silk scarves and pocket squares. Her designs are inspired by flora and fauna depicted in bright colors and bold illustrations.
"I grew up in the countryside, and as a child I was always in the garden looking for bugs and creatures and watching David Attenborough. It’s such a huge source for aesthetic inspiration; the colours, prints, textures and creatures have always been a key source of creativity for my design work."
She has participated in number of shows and exhibitions, and her work has been featured in many magazines like Hello, Pigeons & Peacocks, Wolf & Badger and Pocketful to name a few. The limited edition scarves are available on her website.
