Owl Art and Craft Museum in South Korea



This Owl Art and Craft Museum located in a beautiful residential area in Seoul, South Korea is a dream come true for all us owl lovers. 

The Owl Museum was originally a private residence of Mrs. Myeong-Hee Bae.who has been collecting unique owls for over 40 years! She also received owls from her family and friends who gave owls as gift that seemed worthy of being added to her collection.





The place amassed a collection of over 3000 pieces of owl paraphernalia from more than 80 different countries including China, Japan, Indonesia, Russia, and Zimbabwe.  There are owl themed folding screens, ceramics, paintings, sculptures, and even owl stamps all under one roof. 

If you ever make a plan to go to Seoul then you might want to put this small, quirky place on your list of places to visit. Here's some information about the museum:

Closed every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday
