Minneapolis based painter Jennifer Davis is well-known for creating whimsical characters who live in an imaginative world. She paints primarily in acrylic, graphite and charcoal on paper or round pine panel. What makes her paintings stand out is the eye-catching colors and intricate patterns mixed in with rich textures.
Jennifer has exhibited her work in number of solo and group exhibitions including the Minneapolis Institute of Arts, The DeVos Art Museum, DeCordova Museum and Sculpture Park , Soo Visu al Arts Center, Foster Museum, Bloomington Art Center and Turchin Center for the Visual Arts. Her paintings have be exhibited in many galleries across the United States. The artist received the Next Step Fund Grant from the Minnesota Regional Arts Council, McKnight Foundation in 2013.
