Mixed Media Collages Influenced by Pop Culture Imagery

Kelly Sullivan is a mixed media artist born in Melbourne. She studied Graphic Arts and gained an Arts Degree from the National Art School in Darlinghurst. Her art is heavily influenced by the surroundings she grew up in, pop culture imagery of the 20th century was an integral part of her family. Her parents met at an Elvis look-a-like competition when they were only 16.

Her collages are inspired by the pop culture she was exposed to early on in her life and still is encircled by. She uses vintage fabric, decals, and acrylics with hand-cut images of popular personalities from movies and the music world. Her art has been shown at several art fairs, galleries, and group and solo exhibitions. Her work has been featured in magazines and on blogs. You can follow her on Facebook and Instagram.
