Self-taught wire artist Hayley Jones makes these amazing sculptures using wire. UK based artist's work is inspired by nature in particular the bird that visit her garden which is also her studio. In 2014 she expanded her area of interest, she already use to paint and now have moved on to exploring the art of creating wire sculptures.
Her life-size sculptures are handmade using single coiled wires in different colors. She twists and turns the wire to shape it into animal forms and mounts them on recycled materials such as old wooden gates, rusted garden tools, and galvanised watering cans. She is currently showing her work at Friends of The Garden - ‘Sculpture in a Landscape exhibition’, West Leaze, Ogbourne Rd, Aldbourne from September 3rd through 27th. You can follow her on Facebook - The Coach House Studio and Gallery - for future shows and to learn about what she is working on currently.
