Wildlife Drawings By Catherine Scartaccini Of CSIllustrator

Catherine Scartaccini is a wildlife illustrator based in Perth, Western Australia. She gained a first class honors degree in zoology and anatomy from the University of Western Australia. She has always been passionate about animals, ever since she could hold a pencil she expressed her love for them through her illustrations. In 2017, after graduating she focused herself full-time drawing animals and birds with amazing precision and accuracy.

Her work depicts human portraits and botanical illustration, but her it's the animals and birds that has been the recurring subject matter in her work. She uses colored pencils to draw feathers and furs of her creatures on a white background. The detail in her work makes owl, macaw, crane, walrus, swan and camel look almost real. You can find her art prints and originals on her website.
