June Uriagereka is a self-taught artist from the Basque Country. Her work is inspired by magic of nature, and mainly revolves around themes such as folklore, plants and trees, the moon, myths and the fairyland.
She paints with acrylics on repurposed (whenever possible) birch wood slices and watercolor paper. She handmakes frames for her original paintings using dried leaves of fern, oak and ivy. Her whimsical pieces are perfect to add a little character to any corner of your house. These one-of-a-kind paintings will impart dreamlike atmosphere by themselves or pick a few of our favorites ones to create an art gallery for yourself.
